Back in the GWN
Yes, I'm back in the Great White North. Mississauga. Raining when I arrived at the airport. Doesn't feel like it could turn to snow, but what do I know.
Ran 3 miles last night. Got up this morning and ran 5x400m intervals. It will probably be a treadmill day in the morning. I did bring running clothes for outside. But with the rain, pre day break and unfamiliar surroundings, that will have to do.
Yesterday, had a big lunch. Mexican food. Smothered burrito, tamale and relleno. I've been paying the price every since. I don't think my body is used to that much fat, beans or quantity. Maybe I'm just getting sick. Or maybe it was thought of being on the road again.
Oh well, I can get through this trip. Cross my fingers and nothing more is scheduled. This coming weekend is supposed to be 3 days in Steamboat, it's our 20th anniversay. We have accomodations at a B&B. Planning on taking the bikes, I don't think a lot of snow has been flying up there. So, something to look forward to, hope Thursday is here fast.
